Summary
Overall Animal Attraction is a contemporary romance in a series with animals as a common theme. I have not read the other books in the series and this one stands on its
own. I was thrilled that the main characters worked at a vet and how they interacted with the animals. The pets are center stage and animal lovers would enjoy this book. Jade is superefficient and has a love affair with excel spreadsheets. It made her very endearing to me. Both Jade and Dell had a past that added depth to their characters. I also enjoyed the dialogue and relationship with Dell and his brother, Adam and with Jade and her friend Liliah and Bessie. There was an excessive amount of
unnecessary profanity that added no context for me. That was the most disappointing part of the book for me. I am hesitant to recommend it because of that. I will probably read another book by this author to see if this is her style or just a fluke in this book. To summarize, fun animal involvement, great story, I even teared up at one point, but if you do not like LOTS of the F word you might want to pass.
Violence One of the main characters is dealing with issues from an attack,
Language 4.5 The F work is excessively used. Plenty of profanity, not a lot of other crude words. but if you have a problem with the F word, I would pass on this book.
Sexual 6+ sex scenes
Drug & Alcohol some casual drinking, her friends drinks to much.
