Risk Taker — Lindsay McKenna
In the mountains of Afghanistan, her daring rescues have made Medevac pilot Sarah Benson a legend. She loves taking her helicopter where others fear to fly —and the distraction from thinking about her own hurting heart.
US Navy SEAL Ethan Quinn is man enough to prize Sarah’s valour as well as her beauty. But his efforts to reach his beautiful colleague can’t pierce her armor. Can he prove that it’s possible to find love in a war zone?
Armed And Famous — Jennifer Morey
Bounty hunter Lincoln Ivy is fairly sure the gorgeous redhead next door has a dangerous secret. And when she’s visited by a mysterious gunman threatening her life, Lincoln’s suspicions are confirmed.
When Remy Lang is almost kidnapped and Lincoln comes to her rescue, she’s reluctant to let him help her. She’s gotten herself into a terrifying situation and doesn’t want to risk anyone else. But as Lincoln proves himself time and time again as a skilled protector, she can’t push him — or the attraction building between them — away.

Summary
Overall Risk Taker is a romantic suspense with both hero and heroine participating in the military during the war on terror. The action and drama seemed
very realistic. Sarah is the risk taker when it comes to flying the Medevac helicopter to save wounded soldiers. However she has not been willing to open her heart to anyone since her childhood was stolen in foster care. Will she take a risk on a poetic SEAL? Ethan is up for the challenge to prove that he is after more than her body. Ethan has a SEAL’s honor and a soft side with the patience of a saint as he tries to navigate the walls that Sarah has built. Risk Taker is action packed with an emotional side to it too. I actually teared up at one point. I am looking forward to more books in the Shadow Warriors series and I am going back to look for the ones I
missed.
Violence Although there is the war violence, I didn't think it was extreme or persistent.
Language
Sexual There are a few physical scenes. I felt they were well written.
