Summary
Casper Christiansen is an adventurer; especially after he learns about his brother's betrayal; he travels all the way to Honduras following a dueling fiasco at his sister's wedding. But the beautiful woman that he left behind is always on his mind. And so, he gives up South American treasure hunting and returns to Minnesota only to discover that his dreams might not come true after all; at least not until he learns how unconditional love must be. Raina Beaumont cannot believe that on the evening of her daughter's delivery that Casper Christiansen shows up on her doorstep, and then begs her not to make the only decision that she knows how to make. After successfully shoving Casper aside, she retreats to Deep Haven, to live in her aunt's home and attempt to start her live all over again. When she discovers that her new job in a dusty old antique store is going to bring her in close proximity yet again to Casper Christiansen, she grabs on to the only lifeline available; the incredibly handsome Monte Riggs. But as Raina and Casper are inextricably pulled into a local treasure hunt of their own, Raina discovers what true love is all about. This is a wonderful heartwarming story; rich with love and life lessons that many people live their entire life without learning. Love seeps into all the broken, cracked, damaged places in Raina's heart and Casper has the opportunity to listen to God's voice in ways that he could have never imagined. \"Always on My Mind\" has most certainly found its place in this continuation of the Christiansen Family series.
