Donna’s Review:
Silent Night Pursuit starts off with edge of your seat suspense. This has a totally different feel from the other Katy Lee books I have read. Don’t get me wrong you still have the faith element, the top notch suspense and the exceptional characters but the story line is very different. I am excited to see what this series will bring.
I loved Cade from the beginning. His service dog was icing on the cake. I found Lacey likeable even though at first I wasn’t sure about her fly by the seat of your pants action and lack of planning. She can hold her own (I won’t ruin anything for you here) and she works at her dad’s race car business; how cool is that? The scenes with them in the car together are hilarious. I adored the bond and relationship she had with her brother; so well written that you could feel it.
Lacey is researching her brother’s death and she believes Cade has some of the answers. Cade feels responsible for her brother’s death and wants nothing to do with helping her because he thinks it will put her in danger… but it is already too late for that.
Silent Night Pursuit is Katy Lee at her best. I highly recommend this book and I am anxiously awaiting the next book in the series.
