Tips from cleaning your closet to what we can learn from Monks

My desire is that you will be as impacted by these author conversations as I was. The authors have a diverse set of experiences that led each of them to share their message to help others. In these conversations you will learn some of the behind the scenes of the books and what led them to share sometimes heartbreaking experiences with others. When many of us would have hit it under a bushel.

You can watch these author conversations along with many more on the More Than a Review Facebook Page. The authors love for you to share with them if you are moved by their experiences and tips. I encourage you to leave comments here on the blog on the videos. More in-depth conversations with the authors will be coming soon.

I had the pleasure of attending the Advanced Writers and Speakers Association (AWSA) meeting in addition to the Munce Christian Product Expo. If you are an author I would recommend both of them for totally different reasons. AWSA is a gathering of Christian women who are writers and speakers with a heart for God and each other. Munce is a trade show for the Christian product industry.

I want to be a part of that

I was at another conference and it was like a reunion. The women were so excited to see each other and to help each other. I knew I wanted to be a part of them. They were members of AWSA.
AWSA is a gathering of Christian women who are writers and speakers with a heart for God and each other. I was ecstatic to be accepted as a member this year and attended my first AWSA conference in August. It is not like a typical writers conference I have attended. It is more about the relationships and building each other up. We did have sessions were we learned new skills. (A big thank you to Edie Melson and Monica Schmelter for their sessions. That may be another blog post. I learned so much from them.)
