I am participating in the Romance in the Air giveaway. I chose to give away an ebook copy of Swept to Sea by Heather Manning. She is a young adult (17) and has published her first romance book with Astraea Press.
Swept to Sea is a historical action adventure romance on the high seas. Eden’s father is forcing her to marry Lord Rutger who is violent. After his latest attack she is convinced she is safer running away. Eden ends up on the Dawn’s Mist which is Captain Caspian’s ship. Caspian is still healing from the death of his wife and raising his son Reed on his own. Reed was adorable. Eden is found on the ship within the first day. Caspian protects her and does not understand why she is so scared and skittish. She very slowly starts to trust Caspian. There is lots of action and adventure as Lord Rutger finds them. Her two best friends Ivy and Aimee have enlisted the help of Matthew to help the find Eden before Lord Rutger does. Aimee and Matthew have an attraction and distaste for each other. I am hoping this is a trilogy and each of the friends gets her own book. Swept to Sea is the debut novel by Heather Manning and I am looking forward to future books by her.
