Summary
James Jordan writes a novel that shows how pride and arrogance can blind us to the trap temptation sets before us. Rev. David Parst succumbs to an alluring parishioner which leads to consequences that he never thought to consider. The author carefully reveals how Rev. Parst's sinful choice had long¬term effects on him, but also had disastrous consequences on the lives of those dearest to him. The story line is somewhat predictable but is overall a good read. In a day where lack of commitment to marriage vows reigns, Mr. Jordan's novel may or may not set well with the reader . . . but it will give one plenty to consider
