Graced with physical beauty, though shallow of heart, Charity O’Connor is a woman who knows what she wants. She sets her sights on the cantankerous Mitch Dennehy, editor at the Irish Times, who has unwittingly stolen her heart. And although the sparks are there, Mitch refuses to fan the coals of a potential relationship with his ex-fiancée’s sister. But Charity has a plan to turn up the heat and she always gets what she wants–one way or another. Is revenge so sweet after all? Or will Charity get burned?
Full of intense passion, betrayal, and forgiveness, A Passion Redeemed will delight Lessman’s fans and draw new ones.

Summary
Overall A Passion Redeemed is the second book in the Daughters of Boston series. The novel is set in the years just after the end of World War One. All the books in this series revolve around one IrishAmerican family in particular, the O'Connor family. The characters are welldeveloped and full of passion in life and in love. The second
daughter is the main focus of this novel; Charity O'Connor has a lot of growing up to do. She thinks the way to win a man is through sensuality, and if a white lie or two is necessarywell, so what! She and God aren't on speaking terms: she believes God is responsible for taking away her favorite sister, the love and attention of her father, and her fiancé. She'll stop at nothing to become Mrs. Mitch Dennehy. The author does a superb job of showing how Charity's machinations only lead her (and others) into more pain. Through the consequences of her own poor choices, Charity is led to a place of entrusting her heart to Christ, which ultimately becomes the key to unlocking and delivering the desires of her heart. There are some mature themes within the plot, but they are dealt with in a tasteful way such that they become excellent
moments of instruction.
Violence Dating violence. Rape without details. Fisticuffs.
Language
Sexual Generally tasteful and within the bounds of marriage. However, the book is dealing with the subject of young people finding their way in relationships. Charity's
sensuality backfires on her.
