Houston homicide detective Roland March was once one of the best. Now he’s disillusioned, cynical, and on his way out – until an unexpected break gives March one last chance to save his career – and his humanity. All he has to do is find the missing teenage daughter of a Houston evangelist that every cop in town is already looking for. But March has an inside track, a multiple murder that nobody else thinks is connected.

Summary
Overall One of the best books I have read in a while. This book is well written and keeps you wanting more. Many twists keep you guessing throughout the whole book as to what is going to happen next.
Violence It is a book about murder so there is some violence in it. It's more about the process of solving the crime than the details of the crime. Yes there are some details in the story when the detective has to work the crime scene but I didn't feel like it was too much.
Language There may have been maybe one or two crude words said in the book.
Sexual The main character eyes another character a few times throughout the book. No kissing or sexual scenes are detailed and no romance really ever comes out of it.
Drug & Alcohol One of the crime scenes involves a gang that sell drugs and so the book mentions drugs. Actual drug use isn't mentioned or described.
